P E A C E

With his high polling numbers, he was the front runner for the political office. But then a skeleton came out of the closet and his hopes were destroyed. It was a sexual affair of many years ago. Unfortunately, this scenario is played out before us voters far too many times.

Do you have any skeletons in your closet waiting to jump out? What painful event would you like to erase from your past? Have you successfully covered your tracks?

Perhaps you feel at peace because you think your past is deeply buried. However, we cannot hide our sins from God. He knows what we have done and He also knows the motivation of our hearts. Many suffer from the self-delusion that time reconciles. But there is no peace when our sins separate us from God.

True peace is established when sin is removed. That's why Jesus died. He carried our sins to the cross. Through Him we are reconciled to God.

Do you have the peace that transcends all understanding? It is found only through Christ Jesus.
